Tribute Trees

A gift to Trees For Houston is a wonderful way to enhance the environment while paying tribute to someome. The Trees For Houston Tribute Program allows donors to commemorate a special occasion, honor a friend or family member or make a memorial gift. The Baby Tribute Program is also an excellent way to honor a newborn, and ensure that future generations will have the pleasures and benefits that only an urban forest can provide.

For a tax deductible donation of $310, a 15-gallon, 6'-8' tall tree will be planted in our Trees For Houston tribute grove located along the retention pond bordering Tully Stadium on Dairy Ashford, south of I-10. For a donation of $450, a 30-gallon, 8'-12' tall tree will be planted. We will plant mixed native trees to help add needed shade and shield the surrounding neighborhood from noise. By sponsoring a tree you are giving a gift that will grow for generations to come. In lieu of a planted tree, a tax deductible donation of $30 or more will help plant and maintain trees throughout Houston. An acknowledgement will be sent to each recipient.
