FAQ
Q My tree looks like it is dying, can someone come out and see if it has bugs or is sick?
A Trees For Houston plants trees, we do not diagnose them. A certified arborist will be glad to help you with your problem; you may find one online or in the phone book.
Q I have a red oak that needs to be moved as we are adding on to our home, can I donate it to you?
A We plant containerized specimen trees that are supplied by our contractors, and we do not have the equipment that is required to dig up trees. You may call your county commissioner and ask if they would like your tree to place in one of their county parks.
Q I have a tree that needs to be trimmed, can you come out and trim it?
A Trees For Houston only plants trees, we do not trim them. You may call a bonded tree company by looking online or in the phone book to trim your tree.
Q Hurricane Ike took out my large oak tree in the back yard. Can you plant a replacement tree in my back yard for me?
A Trees For Houston only plants in the public right-of-way, which is usually the area between the street and the sidewalk.
Q The school my daughter attends needs trees, do you plant around schools?
A Yes. We plant in the public right-of-way on about 20 to 25 school campuses each year.
