“Our partners and volunteers are an integral part of the organization and allow us to continue expanding the green canopy in the Greater Houston area,” - Trees For Houston
Executive Director, Barry Ward
We’re so glad you found us…
Trees For Houston is a nonprofit dedicated to planting, protecting, and promoting trees to enhance the quality of life across the greater Houston region. For over 41 years, we’ve planted and maintained hundreds of thousands of trees—more than 80,000 annually—across 19 counties.
Our work strengthens communities, improves air quality, supports cognitive and social development in children, and creates safer, greener neighborhoods. Through tree plantings, distributions, nursery operations, and education, we’re building a healthier urban environment—one tree at a time.
